Books are made of carbon.  Trees are felled to pulp paper.  Energy is consumed to publish and print books.  Fuel and resources are consumed by the supply chain that delivers books to the customer's doorstep.

Chilli Go-Green is here to put together a product range where each product is either made of recycled or renewable materials, or helps reduce usage of Earth’s resources. Little Dog Bookshop

The Little Dog Bookshop is very much committed to preserving our environment for future generations to come. Kate MacMaster wanted to make sure her shop would not have any negative impact towards climate change and commissioned the Carbon Reduction Institute to undertake a complete carbon footprint of its operations. This included emissions from electricity and gas usage, staff travel; waste, fuel and flights; books sold, transport and embodied emissions in other company assets and expenses. Kate now purchases energy efficiency carbon credits to offset all carbon emissions associated with the Little DOg Bookshop, while she progressively works on reducing her shop's overall carbon impact.

XTM is making our planet Cleaner and Healthier

XTM is committed to expanding its product line both in Australia and overseas. New and exciting additions are always in the pipeline, initiated by the constant feedback we received from our sponsored skiers and boarders.

We here at XTM are dependent upon Mother Nature for our livelihood. We recognise the growing impact of climate change on our environment and the threat it poses not just to our industry, but to the planet as a whole. It is because of this risk that we thought we needed to recognise our own environmental footprint and take some action to minimise our impact on the planet.

To do this we enlisted the help of the Carbon Reduction Institute to conduct an audit on the whole of XTM's business. This audit determined what our total carbon footprint was and calculated the level of carbon credits that we needed to purchase to offset our total footprint.

But we are not happy with resting on our laurels and are determined to continue to reduce our total carbon footprint by managing our energy usage, purchasing carbon offsets whenever we fly, and to continue to look for new environmentally friendly product to add to our range.

We actively encourage all our business partners to join us in making our planet a cleaner, healthier place to live. We do this on behalf of our children's children.
