Fulton Francis


Actual Data Upload: Rather than assuming use patterns on devices Fulton Francis wanted to base all calculations on actual verifiable data. This is achieved by physically metering each device for an agreed period. Metering equipment will capture actual usage patterns and also capture standby periods when devices are still drawing power. Once the data is captured the upload function can calculate the results from anywhere in the world.

Save & Export Function: Uploaded data is saved in a central database.

A comparison can then be made with any future device analysis, so as to accurately quantify any carbon emission/electricity savings.

The export feature allows all data to be graphed for analysis in the summary report.

  In developing these innovations to the standard carbon calculator model, Fulton Francis has shown a commitment to accurately quantifying all costs associated with a company's print infrastructure. Clients can then make informed decisions, based on verifiable data, to optimize their printing infrastructure in order to meet their global sustainability goals.

Vega has committed to offsetting 100% of the emissions identified in the LowCO2 audit and has gone further by offering all its customers carbon neutral printing services through the commissioning of a comprehensive online calculator which can quantify the emissions produced per printing job based on a range of inputs. Vega are currently offering carbon calculations to its clients using the calculator and will make the calculator available for public use shortly.
