Climate change strategy

Vigilant Solutions has taken steps to reduce energy consumption by replacing existing downlights with energy efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs and applying motion detectors to all office lights. In addition to this, Vigilant Solutions has taken steps to increase recycling including a program to take back computers sold to customers, to ensure they are recycled and disposed of properly. Vigilant Solutions has furthermore implemented an extensive recycling policy in its office with great success.

All remaining emissions are offset through the Carbon Reduction Institute. Vigilant Solutions has far exceeded its offset requirements by applying $1.00 from every hour of service work, and offsetting 2 tonnes from every PC sold.
